Plagiarism is the unethical act of copying someone else’s prior ideas, processes, results or words without explicit acknowledgement of the original author and source. The ISTES Organization is strictly against any unethical act of copying or plagiarism in any form. Plagiarism is said to have occurred when large portions of a work have been copied from existing previously published resources. By submitting a work to the ISTES Organization, the author(s) confirm that it is an original work, is unpublished work and is not under consideration elsewhere.
Plagiarism in whole or in part without proper citation is not tolerated by the publisher. Publications submitted to the publisher need to be checked for originality using anti-plagiarism software. Please cross-check your document for plagiarism using anti-plagiarism software like Turnitin/ iThenticate before it is submitted for publication to the ISTES Organization.
Publications may be used for research, teaching, and private study purposes. Authors alone are responsible for the contents of their publications. The publisher, the ISTES Organization, owns the copyright of the publications. The publisher shall not be liable for any loss, actions, claims, proceedings, demand, or costs or damages whatsoever or howsoever caused arising directly or indirectly in connection with or arising out of the use of the publications.
The author(s) of a publication agree that if a work is accepted for publication by the publisher, it will be copyrighted using a Creative Commons “Attribution 4.0 International” license. This license allows others to freely copy, distribute, and display the copyrighted work, and derivative works based upon it, under certain specified conditions.
Authors are responsible for obtaining written permission to include any images or artwork for which they do not hold copyright in their publications, or to adapt any such images or artwork for inclusion in their publications. The copyright holder must be made explicitly aware that the image(s) or artwork will be made freely available online as part of the publications under a Creative Commons “Attribution 4.0 International” license.
